Local songwriter Crystal Robins brings to the stage her heartfelt folk and alt-country flavoured original songs. A recent graduate of The CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth, Crystal has performed at festivals around Australia and is also a regular performer around local spots. Followed by a soulful set from Ursula Yovich, an award-winning actor, singer, playwright, and director. A proud Burarra/Serbian performer, she is one of Australia’s most respected storytellers. Her work spans 29 years through theatre, film, and television, with acclaimed roles in Barbara and the Camp Dogs, Top End Wedding, Top End Bub, Deadloch and major stage productions across leading Australian theatre companies.

Sunday sunset sessions at Darwin Surf Lifesaving Club / De La Plage with live music by Crystal Robins & The Wildfires. Layering stunning vocals with intricate guitar playing, Crystal’s songs weave a dreamy mix of indie-folk with an alt-country twist, brought to life by her band full of local talent ‘The Wildfires’.

City of Darwin's Carols By Candlelight celebrates its 50th year in 2025, with an all star cast of soloists and performers taking the stage. Join in with the 50 strong choir,18 soloists and the Band of the 1st Brigade the Australian Army Band. Soloists include Crystal Robins, Angie Sublime, Emma Rowe, Caiti Baker, Rob Collins, Brian Manning, Karen O'Shea, Tanzil Rahman and many more. Donations and proceeds go toward Variety the Childrens Charity NT. You are welcome to bring your own picnic, and there will be candles (battery operated) for sale for use indoors.

Doors open at 5:30pm, the concert begins at 6:30pm concluding with a spectacular fireworks display at Darwin Waterfront at 8:30pm. Be sure to get there early enough to secure your favourite picnic spot.
